ARISE!

One afternoon while studying the bible and worshipping the Lord; the Holy Spirit led me to the book of Isaiah 60:1. ARISE (from depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you- rise to a new life! Shine be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! My heart nearly jumped out of my body because the word became alive and enlightening. One Word in that scripture stood a little taller than the rest and that was; ARISE! What a wonderful declaration. I’ll say it again- ARISE! Arise from depression, from poverty, from affliction. Our God knows exactly what personal trials we are struggling with and his command to us is to arise and to shine with His glory. In former times, I have felt the pain and agony of depression, being overwhelmed with darkness and despair. If at that time I heard the word- ARISE, it would have been a difficult thing to do and quite honestly almost a difficult option to contemplate.
But God, whose love surpasses any condition; desires to perfect us for the edifying of the body of Christ until we all come in the unity of the faith. Eph 4:12-13 (KJV)God only requires our trust in Him, to bring forth that which he has already freely placed within us. Our Lord is not a God with a list of demands; instead He the God of solutions. Did you know that God has preplanned every solution to every problem you will ever have in your lifetime? Would you like proof that God has the solution before the problem?
Let’s go to the scripture before Isaiah 60:1. Isaiah 59:21 (Amplified)  As for me, this is My covenant or league with them, says the Lord: My Spirit, Who is upon you (and Who writes the law of God inwardly on the heart), and My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart out of your mouth, or out of the mouths of your (true, spiritual) children, or out of the mouths of your children’s children, says the Lord, from henceforth and forever.
God is our problem solver and His word is our solution! He is the beginning and the end! He is the Lord of our salvation! God’s solution to your issue; the issue that you are dealing with right at this moment is to ARISE. How can we arise when we are so bound by temptations and lack? Isaiah 59 has the solution; My words which I have put in your mouth shall not depart…” God is saying; “Whatever you are dealing with, know that my word shall never depart from your mouth”. That is His promise, His covenant with us, His children; His WORD. If you are depressed use the word he has freely placed in your mouth. Speak to depression right now with the written law of God inwardly on your heart. Say to depression; “I will no longer be conformed to this world and its labels and its diseases. I will be transformed by the renewing of my mind that I may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”. (Rom 12:2 ) We will ARISE people of God! Once we tap into the solutions God has already provided for us; His Word which is promised to never depart from our hearts or our mouths. ARISE!
